3dfileconverter.online is a browser workspace for converting, viewing and checking 3D models. It reads OBJ, STL and STEP files and performs model operations on your device.

What can I do here?

Convert formats, resize meshes, inspect edges, measure distances, separate disconnected parts and capture PNG images. The tool directory links to each workflow and its limitations.

How does local processing work?

The website downloads application code and WebAssembly to your browser. Selected model files are processed in browser memory rather than sent to a conversion server. No account is required.

How should I interpret results?

Measurements and exports operate on triangle meshes. STEP curves are tessellated. Mesh checks are diagnostics, not a guarantee of printability, engineering accuracy or manufacturing suitability. Validate exported models in the software where you plan to use them.

Which software powers the tools?
