3D Model Viewer Online
Open STL, OBJ and STEP models in your browser. Orbit, zoom, inspect wireframes and hide individual parts in a local 3D viewer without uploading model files.
Enable JavaScript to open a model and use the interactive workspace.
How do I use this tool?
- Choose an OBJ, STL or STEP model from your device.
- Preview your model and adjust the settings.
- Create your output and download the result.
What does this tool do?
Read OBJ, STL and STEP locally. Orbit with drag, zoom with scroll, and pan with right-drag. Toggle wireframe or hide individual parts.
What are the file limits?
Models are processed locally. Inputs are limited to 50 MB per file and 500,000 triangles after import. Individual operations may have lower limits described below. Performance depends on your device.
JavaScript, WebAssembly and WebGL are required for the interactive workspace.
How are models processed?
Mesh loading and rendering use Three.js. STEP import and tessellation use occt-import-js, based on Open Cascade. These sources describe the underlying libraries; this tool's supported features and limits are listed on this page.
Frequently asked questions
Which files can I open in this 3D model viewer?
Open OBJ, STL, STEP or STP files from your device. Each file is limited to 50 MB and the imported mesh to 500,000 triangles. This viewer does not accept GLB as an input format.
How do I rotate, zoom and inspect individual parts?
Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom and right-drag to pan. Fit frames the model, Wireframe shows triangle edges, and the part list lets you hide or show individual imported mesh parts.
Why are textures missing from the preview?
External OBJ materials and texture images are not loaded, and STL contains geometry without a standard textured appearance. Basic STEP part colors are displayed when the importer can read them.
Does a normal-looking preview mean a model is printable?
No. A preview can look complete even when a mesh has open boundaries or topology problems. Use Inspect mesh for the available diagnostics and check dimensions and printing constraints separately.
